Hera: The First Greek Goddess

Hera is the title given to her by the first greeks, meaning "Lady". According to the summarians she was born, on the isle of Samos the banks of the river. Hera is the wife and sister of Zeus. She was raised by the Titans, Ocean and Tethys, she is one of the supreme goddesses, and the goddesses of marriage and childbirth. Her marriage with Zeus was found in strife, and continued in stife. Zeus then turned in to trickery and cockoo. And so, Hera married him to cover her shame. When Zeus was overbearing the other gods, Hera convinced them to join in revolt, and her art was to drug Zeus. Then the gods bound the sleeping Zeus taking him to a couch to care. Zeus sprang from the couch and grabbed his thunderbolt. The gods had got down on there knees and begged for mercy.
